Our story
Al Khamail began as a volunteer initiative in 2011, welcoming school students to discover field crops and farm animals. The idea was simple: bring the agricultural and environmental concepts taught in school to life.
Created with care by its owner and his family, the farm brings together sustainable agriculture, education, hospitality and service to the community. As students, families, government bodies and civil society institutions took an interest, its spaces and programmes grew.

A farm with a shared purpose
Al Khamail's work is rooted in volunteering: caring for the land while creating opportunities for people.
During events, an area beneath the shade of the trees is dedicated to families with home businesses, giving them a place to display and market their products and handmade crafts.
The farm developed educational spaces in response to interest from schools, families, government bodies and civil society institutions seeking programmes aligned with its educational mission.
At the beginning of 2025, the farm became home to the headquarters building of the Al Wasil Healthy Village Development Committee, continuing its volunteer contribution to local community life.
