The village was inaugurated on 13 March 2013 under the patronage of the then Governor of North Ash Sharqiyah, Sheikh Yahya bin Hamood Al Maamari.

Opened on 13 March 2013, the village delivers educational and awareness programmes about road safety rules for students, drivers and the wider community.

Royal Court Affairs programmes in 2015
In 2015, the Road Safety Committee at Royal Court Affairs, represented by the Directorate General of Transport, held two days of educational and awareness programmes at the farm. Schoolboys and schoolgirls from North and South Ash Sharqiyah attended, alongside many families.
